The Singleton House, set on seven acres in the Holmby Hills area, has sold for nearly $60 million, earning it the top spot among high-priced home sales so far this year in California. One of the last major works of architect Wallace Neff, the mansion was built for Henry Singleton, who co-founded Teledyne. Singleton died in 1999 at 82. Today the industrial conglomerate is known as Teledyne Technologies.
